Being with someone
like me
like you
is like being
with another fraction of myself
--a higher self--
and I would do anything
everything
I could possibly imagine
to keep myself--
--the whole self
satisfied
 not in want
of anything
in the entire
universe.
Because I can't lose
myself again
and that hole
needs to stay filled.
Oh God!
they don't understand,
